Meet Our Owner: Marvin PEACHEY
Georgia Door & Gate is more than a business—it’s a calling. And at the center of that calling is our owner, Marvin Peachey, a man driven by faith, integrity, and a genuine love for serving people.
Marvin didn’t set out to own a garage door company. In fact, he was working as a transportation director when he learned that the original owner, a longtime family friend, was considering closing or selling the business. The thought stayed with him. Weeks passed, and the idea still wouldn’t leave.
Marvin felt God stirring something in his heart, and after much prayer and seeking guidance, he knew the door was opening for a reason.
He reached out, had a conversation, and eventually stepped into ownership—not because he needed a business, but because he saw an opportunity to build something that mattered. In July of 2022, Georgia Door & Gate became his new mission field.
For Marvin, this work is not about doors—it’s about people. Doors are simply the pathway that allows him to interact with homeowners, business owners, and young men on his team.
He loves meeting new customers, listening to their needs, and helping them solve problems with honesty and care. He sees every service call as a chance to make someone’s day a little lighter.
For Marvin, leadership is rooted in serving. He believes authentic leaders ask the right questions, support their team, and put others first.
One of the things that brings him the greatest joy is mentoring young men—speaking truth into their lives, giving them purpose, and helping them grow into dependable, confident role models in the community.
Faith is the foundation of everything Marvin does. It guides his decisions, his leadership, his interactions with customers, and the culture he builds within Georgia Door & Gate.
God-first living isn’t a slogan to him—it’s the compass for how he works, leads, and loves people.
Today, Marvin is most proud of the incredible team God has brought together. He knows the business wouldn’t be what it is without them.
He wakes up every day motivated by the families who rely on the company, the customers they serve, and the belief that honest work—done with excellence—can change lives.
